Clubs and Activities

The Student Council works with administration, staff, and students at OEMS to create an inclusive and beneficial environment for all. Student Council will work towards helping organize community service events, WIN challenges, Spirit Weeks, and fun and engaging activities every quarter. Student Council allows for student voices and concerns to be voiced and heard.

We will be meeting on Mondays after school from 3:20PM-4:05PM.

Knowledge Bowl is a Jeopardy style team that competes in the Fall. 
Knowledge Bowl questions cover a wide variety of topics from math and science to history and literature to some current events.
We will meet on Wednesdays starting September 18. For Questions please see Mr. Churchill in room 3135.

Hey Huskies, we are looking for a new team of Garden Crew members to help plan, plant, grow, harvest, and eat fresh vegetables from our own OEMS garden!

Fall Art Club starts October 1!

Come on down to the Art Lab in room 2134, for the OEMS Art Club! Sessions include a different media each time, using materials like clay, printing, paper mache', and more!
Registration Fee (materials included) is $100.
All grade levels are welcome! Registration is limited to OEMS students.
Sessions run on Tuesdays from 3:45-4:45. Class ends after activity bus pickup, so students must arrange their own transportation.

Girls on the Run is an afterschool program that uses the power of running to prepare 6th-8th grade girls for a lifetime of self-respect and healthy living. Our season will be each Tuesday & Thursday 3:30-5:00 p.m. starting the week of September 11,  culminating with the Girls on the Run 5K in November. Open to all 6th-8th grade girls and non-binary/gender expansive youth; no previous running experience required.

Snow Club 23/24 is now full, and registration is closed. Current registrants should look out for a confirmation email from Ms. Christensen by the end of next week!
